Galilea is 9 months old!

My Galilea is now 9 months old!

Where has the time gone? I remember coming home two days after she was born and not being able to sleep because 1. I was a new, unexperienced mommy and 2. Galilea was always hungry! The pediatrician told me she had a small belly and could only consume 2 ounces every 3 hours, but in her case, 4 ounces filled her up and sometimes every 1-2 hours!

I seriously did not think I would get pregnant a few months into getting married; I was hoping for a baby but not right away. ( I don't regret it now; in the beginning, I admit it, was very stressful!) Nonetheless, I was filled with joy and couldn't wait for my little monkey to get here.

Like I said, the first few months were very stressful and with every month that passed I only wished I could go back and enjoy the months in which I didn't get to focus on the little details.

Like :

holding her all the time even when she didn't need to be held
staring at her when she was sleeping
kissing her more often

It's not that I can't do that now, but every momma knows that as they get older the less they want to

be held
be stared at without looking away
and turning away/ scooting away from mommas kisses

I'm just thankful that she has made it this far and not been sick, and I am also thankful that my husband and
I made it for 9 months as first time parents. phew.

I might be posting more blog posts and updates of what she is doing in the remaining months before she turns 1. This is one of those things I regret not have done; kept an online diary of her first 12 months of life.

AT NINE MONTHS SHE CAN:

scoot/army crawl
use her walker and roam in the kitchen and outside
she can say Pa Pa Pa forever
she likes to 'sing' or screech/yell as we can call it
she loves food and can eat finger foods (she started 3 weeks ago)
Her favorite show/movie is Veggietales and Pocoyo
She likes sleeping with mommy
She weighs in at 20lbs and is about 27-28 inches tall
